Neon Sign Project Background
LASHGOD is the leading Modern Aesthetics Academy and Luxury & Beauty Supply Service Provider in the Greater Toronto Area. Their team of professional aestheticians provide lash, hair, nails, and aesthetics services as well as courses, and are backed by years of hands-on experience and certifications in these fields. The company has grown from a one-woman outfit, to a team of more than 35 employees since its inception in 2018, and has been featured in Salon Magazine and Toronto Guardian.
With this explosive growth in a competitive industry, LASHGOD decided it was time to upgrade their store signage at their North York, Ontario location to present a more visually appealing and eye-catching ambience that reflects their brand. In 2019, they hired 6ix Signs to create and install various signage for their business locations, including neon signs for their storefronts and kiosks.
Designing the Neon Signs
Our design team created the LASHGOD neon flex signs professionally and safely at the 6ix Signs workshop. We created the storefront sign using LED neon flex strips, which were contoured to form the brand logo. We also built the reception kiosk with a shiny chrome finish and neon LED lighting for emphasis. The kiosk was fitted with channel letters created using a mould.
Neon Flex signs offer many significant advantages over glass neon signs, and are thus gaining wider popularity among business owners who want to improve their shop interior and exterior with them.
What are the advantages of LED Neon Signs?
First and foremost, LED neon flex signs stand out. They can be designed and built using a range of colours, and due to the flexibility of the neon flex strips, can be easily shaped to most designs. You will likely have TV screens and WiFi in your business locations, in which case LED neon signs do not cause interference with these. Glass neon signs on the other hand may cause interference with infrared remote controls.
The Finished Storefront Neon Sign
The original fascia sign was replaced with the LED neon sign created by 6ix Signs, and the difference is evident. As you can see, the LED neon sign is modern, sleek, and reflective of the brand image the owner wants to project. The sign looks incredible both during the day and at night, and anyone passing by the business, whether by vehicle or on foot, won’t miss it.
